Determined to offer a more robust user experience, Reelo, based on the AT Protocol but with its own backend and code base, allows for longer videos and prioritizes attention-grabbing content creation. The app’s future plans include support for livestreaming and personalized user data storage through a personal data server. In terms of monetization, João Davi aims to share revenue with creators while ensuring fair compensation. Plans for ads, subscriptions, and premium features are being considered, with a focus on user engagement and community building. Reelo is set to launch beta testing for interested users soon, promising a fresh take on social video sharing and interaction.
