Requirements for the badge include 10,000+ installs, 250+ reviews, 90 days on Google Play, and meeting target API levels. The badge enhances app visibility on details pages and search results, aiming to assist users in making informed choices. Google’s initiative aligns with its efforts to promote safe apps, as seen with the previous introduction of “Government” labels for official state and federal government apps on Google Play.
